Dr Norris DDS is a friendly, caring dentist with over 25
years of experience in dentistry. He has provided devoted care to patients in
Lake Jackson since 1989
Dr Norris graduated at the top of his class from the
University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston in 1985. While there he did extra
study in surgery and Temporal Mandibular Joint issues. Dr. Norris is a member
of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society and is a Fellow in the Delta
Sigma Delta dental academic society. He has worked as an adjunct professor of
anatomy at UT Dental Branch. Dr Norris is a member of the Academy of Laser
Dentistry, the National Headache Foundation, The American Equilibration Society
and the American Society of Craniofacial Pain. He is a Fellow in the American
Academy of Pain Management.
Dr. Norris had an interesting career before dentistry. He
worked in geology in West Texas, has an undergraduate degree from Texas Tech with
a major in microbiology and worked in medical research. He has published
scientific papers in microbiology and sleep research.
Dr. Norris stays in
top fitness form as a triathlete. He has competed in several half iron man
triathlons and became an Ironman when he completed the full 140.6 mile course
in Panama City, Florida. He is a member of Lake Jackson Freeport Area Triathlon
Club. He is a regular participant in the Houston Marathon and the Surfside Half
Marathon.
Dr Norris is also an avid reader. He also enjoys creating
art and is a member of the Houston Area Fiber Artists and he works with wood
and paper crafts.
