Who is a Candidate for ClearCorrect?
The aligners can be used to treat crossbites, overbites, underbites, overcrowded teeth, and widely spaced teeth. They are also effective at helping to close gaps where teeth are missing. Straight teeth are important and help to protect against periodontitis, tooth injury, and uneven wear.
Individuals of all ages can use these oral appliances and as long as the individual wears their retainer at night following the completion of the treatment, the results are equal to those achieved with traditional braces.
The ClearCorrect Process at All Smiles Dentistry
The process starts with your dentist at All Smiles Dentistry taking x-rays, photos, and impressions of your teeth. Using this information, the dentist will create a simulation that shows the steps involved and the final results you can expect. If everything looks good to you, then custom aligners will be created to start the process.
Every three weeks, you will need to come in for an appointment to have a new aligner fitted to your teeth. The road from inception to straight teeth typically takes around 13 months, but naturally varies per individual patient and their needs.
