Dr. Peter Norris has provided devoted care to patients in Lake Jackson since 1989. He is a friendly, caring dentist at All Smiles Dentistry who graduated at the top of his class from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston in 1985. While there he did additional studies in surgery and Temporal Mandibular Joint issues.

Dr. Norris is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society and is a Fellow in the Delta Sigma Delta dental academic society. He has worked as an adjunct professor of anatomy at UT Dental Branch.

Dr. Norris is a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the National Headache Foundation, The American Equilibration Society and the American Society of Craniofacial Pain and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pain Management. He is a past President of the Ninth District Dental Society.

He had an interesting career before dentistry as well, working in geology in West Texas. He has an undergraduate degree from Texas Tech with a major in microbiology and also worked in medical research. He has published scientific papers on microbiology and sleep research.

Dr. Norris stays in excellent shape as a triathlete. He has competed in several half Ironman triathlons and completed two Ironman (140.6 mile) competitions. He is a member of Lake Jackson Freeport Area Triathlon Club and a regular participant in the Houston Marathon and the Surfside Half Marathon.

Dr. Norris is also an avid reader who enjoys creating art with wood, paper and fiber and is a member of Urban Sketchers, Houston.
